How does it work?
The deep cleaning tablet works thanks to a carefully balanced blend of ingredients, each with a specific function. When in contact with water, sodium percarbonate becomes active and releases hydrogen peroxide, which helps oxidise organic dirt. At the same time, sodium carbonate and sodium bicarbonate increase the pH level, allowing grease and detergent residues to dissolve more easily.
Citric acid helps break down limescale, while surfactants loosen dirt and stains. Additional agents such as zeolite and sodium silicate support the cleaning process and help protect machine components. This ensures a thorough internal clean while helping to prevent the reformation of residues and limescale.
Does it work as well as (natural) vinegar and baking soda?
Good question! Even if you use natural vinegar, a washing machine deep cleaning tablet is still the better choice. Here’s why:

Less effective against limescale: Vinegar works on light limescale but is less powerful than the citric acid and zeolite in a deep cleaning tablet.
